About the Burkina Women’s Education Fund

The Burkina Women’s Education Fund is registered under French law as a not-for-profit humanitarian organization. Contributions by French citizens are therefore tax deductible in France. As part of the registration process, the members of the Fund had to approve a Plan of Action and a set of bylaws. These were then submitted to the Government along with the application. Annual reports must be submitted to the French authorities. The bylaws call for a board of six persons to voted in by the membership.
